Senior Director, Editorial Lead -Internal Communications Global

KPMG is currently seeking an Internal Communications Editorial Lead to join our Global Internal Communications team which is a part of KPMG International.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute global internal editorial strategy and leads a team of writers and creatives to deliver top quality and highly relevant multi-media communications across multiple integrated channels
  • Oversee internal communications tracks in Global Corporate Affairs flagship programs
  • Manage and develop flagship internal news channels
  • Ensure alignment of internal communications across all channels (business and flagship)
  • Oversee complex programs spanning the breadth of the organization and the communications function, acting as a key contact with senior stakeholders
  • Serve as Internal Communications lead on highest priority programs, selecting and managing supporting staff and vendors

Qualifications:

  • Minimum ten years of communications experience; minimum five years of experience at a management level with an emphasis on editorial strategy and execution
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
  • Background in multi-media journalism and/or experience leading development of content strategy and execution is required. Ideal candidate has both media and corporate experience
  • Superior writing and communication skills, with an ability to understand the breadth of a complex organization and its business priorities and translate them into consistent, compelling and actionable content
  • Proven people and project management skills with the ability to get buy-in and support for projects from diverse and often widespread stakeholders
  • Able to act professionally, calmly and persuasively when dealing with very senior stakeholders
