Maintenance Mechanic Trainee - Summer Job

• Perform basic maintenance functions and preventative maintenance.
• Use hand tools and other required equipment.
• Read, interpret, and execute work orders with assistance from supervisors and craftsman.
• Learn maintenance processes and procedures.
• Learn the function and operation of various types of industrial equipment.
• Learn the use of drill press, band saw, lathe, grinder, test gauges, welding, burning and electrical testing equipment.
• Learn the MP2 maintenance computer system to find parts and fill out work orders.
• Effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and other departments regarding work accomplishments and findings.
• Participate in L1 meetings, perform safety system requirements, log work hours and comments on work orders in MP2 maintenance software.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States of America. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
• Enrolled in techincal degree or has 1 year of maintenance experience.
