Introduction to the job

To spread the power of training and provide excellent application support and development, the ebeam application engineers and users need to be trained on the latest technologies and software.

The Application Training Department develops and delivers technical learning solutions through 50's of training events yearly worldwide and has training members in San Jose of the US and Taiwan.

Role and responsibilities

Technical Trainer position will be responsible for developing and delivering high quality technical training to customers and internal staff. As a Technical Trainer you will prepare and teach classes to help workers learn new skills. Key responsibilities include assessing training needs, creating training materials, and teaching classes. Technical Trainers need to have excellent presentation and communication skills, along with a calm and patient demeanor.

  • Develop application training material and build up basic, advanced, and application product by CBT(Computer Base Training) program.
  • Mainly in charge of training delivery and development including basic/advanced ebeam knowledge, inspection/metrology, and new tool introduction.
  • Involved with product development cycle and co-work with D&E toward the preparation for the training delivery at HVM (High Volume Manufacturing) stage of product development.
  • Record online training videos and collect field use case to add value and expend current application training scope.
  • Involved with new tool/feature development and feasibility study for next generation tool and performance evaluation, which initiates new project for hardware/firmware design as well as software algorithm improvement.
  • Create / develop reports and make presentation to management.
  • Manage internal e-learning training platform.
  • Managing internal knowledge management platform: Apps KM Space.
  • May require travel (domestic and international) dependent on business needs - approximately 10%.

This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. * 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Education and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant Science/Engineering field of study. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant, work related experience. Semiconductor industry highly desired. At least 5 + years with a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Familiar with Semiconductor manufacturing and process flow.
  • Experienced in e-beam tool, including SEM, TEM is a plus.
  • Experienced on yield engineering in Semiconductor industry is a plus.
  • Familiar in wafer CD Metrology/Overlay and Litho process is a plus.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Good English written, oral, conversation and ability to influence.
  • Training / Education delivery/development experience or media development experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for about once a month to do wafer management or training.
